BILL BARR IS WRONG BUT HE COULD BE THE ONLY ONE RIGHT

In a post on the Hill by Lauren Sforza dated 06/11/2023 (link attached), she highlights and comments about the ongoing national disgrace that could be the worst, if not one of the worst, challenges to our Republic.

Miss Sforza was reporting on the interview that day, conducted by Fox News’ Shannon Bream, where William Barr all but stated that Donald Trump should be toasted, roasted, and put in the pen to stew (my words, read for yourself). Claiming that “The Donald” was completely wrong in this case concerning “classified documents”, I’d like to assert the opposite.

A longtime friend and a captious and often self-aggrandizing, but very knowledgeable lawyer, who follows my posts on Facebook with deprecatory comments or follow up links in support, posted the Hill link I offered above. Many comments followed, one of which was mine that became the catalyst of this blog. Here is my post with minor changes to fulfil my personal blog requisites

Billy Bob, (not his real name) let’s just stop and let this lowly silly old man pretend he knows as much as his highly respected lawyer friend. For the record, for me to understand lawyer speak you’ll have de-elevate the platitudes, in this case the phrase, “fact patterns”. Throwing around the word “fact” gives us lay folks a sense that something has already been decided and adding “pattern” to create a phrase just feels like you are pulling all of us down the legal speak rabbit hole. But for us constitutional dilettantes, we believe, and I hope you’ll agree, there is a difference between a conclusionary determination by a court and what is a “fact pattern”. (You Legal Begles sure come up with more phrases and big words that simply astound a majority of us, but you have at it, and we’ll give due respect where warranted)

Now enough of my, well, whatever I did right there and let’s get ourselves right to the real facts if that’s ok. No patterns please, and less abstract, because that is really what we have here, right? Isn’t it? You tell me. The assertions of the special counsel, Jack Smith, who is really only summarizing his case as presented to a grand jury are not facts as he calls them, and certainly none that were offered which would weaken his case or provide the grand jury with an iouta of information that would lead to a fair understanding of the big picture. For the record, Jack Smith is not the friendly watch dog who lays all the “facts” on the table. He’s more of a liberal hack, ruthless attack dog who has been assigned by Joe Biden to get rid of the leading “loyal opposition’s” candidate for 2024. Yes, yes, we all know how this works, I get it. Not Joe then, who never saw a bribe he could walk away from. No, no, then Merrick Garland if you must, but we all know how the swamp works. But Jack, Jack, Jack: You've been slapped down, overturned, rolled over and had your hind quarter excavated by numerous courts for overzealous and clearly unethical litigation that would impress the least imperceptible socialist alive. Who could that be, why Merrick Garland, who else. Assign that guy to get Trump. This is turning into a great script for a screen play with great movie making potential. Great character development for sure.

What is the nature of that picture and how should it be observed in the full light of day with all its bright colors on full display. Let’s see if I have this right.

National Archives tells Trump to return “classified documents” to 700 Pennsylvania Ave. Has Barr, or anyone else for that matter, determined the level or qualification for classification, be it national security and or high priority secrets only those evil Russians would want to know. Lord knows they got a bunch before Hillary got mess’un around with BleachBit and splattering cell phones around the kitchen floor with hammers. Sorry, let’s not go back that far.

So, fairness applied, probably a good many mid-level classified documents, most of which, not yet litigated, were declassified by the president on leaving office. I know his ability to do so is a point of contention but let’s put that over there on the shelf for now and move on with the facts.

So, Trump says NO! PRA applies, not sending them back to the swamp.

Look, I’ll grant you and agree with all of you Rino’s and salivating socialists, why not just give them back. But then again, that’s not how you drain the damn swamp. You see how the big picture here is starting to take shape. Gotta stick your finger in the hornet’s nest and spray wasp spray all over them as they fly out at you. That’s just what Trump is doing.

Wait, sorry, PRA? You didn't know? Here, The Presidential Records Act if that helps. And that’s what really is the basis in the crux of the matter.

So, the National Archives goes back and forth with "Orange Hair" for a couple of years without success. I want to be fair here when helping to paint the picture. Donald Trump can often be his worst enemy but there is going to be a “but but” here in just a minute. But again, to be fair:

Back to the PRA, which in fairness Trump believes, rightly or wrongly, covers him here.

But now it is becoming a national scandal to the degree that House Republicans are seeing political advances for the 2022 election season starting to erode. Rather than displease the presumptive favorite for the 2024 Republican Presidential nomination, they start claiming, rightly so, everyone else has documents as well. Sure enough, the Stealer-In-Chief has them all over the place sitting right next to his crack head son’s hooker as they drive off in the fancy car.

As a side note, wondering; How does all that fancy stuff get acquired by a lifelong Senator. It would be a great question for some fancy special counsel to ask, but we’ll stick with the volumes of classified documents spread all over the Northeastern United States and delived right into the Chinese in-box for now.

The Socialist Democrats see the problem immediately. But, but Biden is cooperating and Trump not so much.

There’s that “but, but” I said I’d get to.

Small “fact”, as that’s the discovery we are attempting here. None, nada, not one of all the other so called “document collectors” was covered by the PRA and should have been in hot water for having any documents to begin with. But we are going to forgive them because we must get Trump out of here before the water is all out of the swamp and everyone starts high stepping out of the muck left for all to see.

And that’s really the deal. A bunch of entrenched swamp creatures who are threatened by the Trumpster. Trump agitates them profoundly and aggressively. But you folks who claim membership in the Republican party, you who wish anyone other than Trump, you know, the Chris Christie's, John McCain’s, and the Mitt Romney’s of the world need to get those rose colored Democrate Party issued glasses off your face in a hurry. Do you remember what happened to those real nice men and what will happen again to the next real nice man. And will again, and again, and again. There will always be new favorites of the MSN until it’s one on one, and then they're not.......well you know. You know, don’t you?

Bill Barr is wrong where he claims that this whole document mess is not a witch hunt. It absolutely is and the continuance of the "get Trump" mind set. You know the folks: The Washington political class, Adam Schiff comes to mind. The elitists: You know those guys, like that pesky George Soros who just handed over the reins of his meddling empower to his more leftist son Alexander. Then you have the political pundits: Yep, those sly folks meandering around on the MSN like the condescending arbiter of truth, Rachel Maddow or the claimant of moral high ground and would be Republican in name only, Joe Scarborough.

But William Barr? When Donald Trump puts his hand on the Bible on January 20th, Inauguration Day 2024, Bill Barr might just be the only one right for regaining the reins of the Justice Department as Attorney General. Animosities have been sidelined in the past. For the Trumpster, it would be wise to do so again.
