It is common knowledge that the period before the birth of Jesus Christ is referred to as B. C. But the historical arena is not limited to the Jewish culture and events that are found and described in a book called the Bible and the Apocrypha or the writings of Josephus and others. They are joined by other great cultures' thoughtful works, products that when reviewed, studied and acted upon may give a human life the opportunity for a spiritual one.
Christ is the central figure in the Judeo-Christian belief system, and those beliefs being central to a modern American experience, I have titled this Blog, as I have, to initiate a discussion about a wide range of topics with that historical perspective in the hope that we all can find the full potential of our great country.
So the question and the study is; "What can we glean from as many scripts as possible before Christ, adding those to that which has followed, applying what we know now to produce what we dream for our children and those that follow?" As the discovery process continues, I will editorialize on current events both local and far reaching, considering the above as the basis and template for my rational and logic.

My very first Post
Love your neighbor, stand for what is right, do good for those who despise you but defend your family, your country and yourself, if need be, to the death. Hope you all will enjoy reading as I get used to this new way of communication. Those who know me will realize I believe in love and war and that both are a product of fallen human nature. How can that be?
